How many albums does he have to release before the contract with Double R is finished?

If he signed 3 or 4 albums.....shit, he'll be stranded in Double R for quite a while. But if it's just this one album, then I suggest him to get the fuck outta there

That's a good question man...I was thinking about that tooo.....I'm sure RR had some kinda clause in there where they can drop him early ...but I hope he only did a one album deal......wouldn't that be something if he went over to ggggggg gunit
Now that its in his interest that he wants to collabo with game???

Contracts are a funny thing. It all depends really, the only person who can answer that is the man who signed it himself.

Here is an example of what I mean, he could have signed a three album deal with an option of 2. Meaning that he's only garunteed 1 album and the other 2 after that are optional. The record label can either keep him around and let him drop those other 2 albums or release him after the first one and use him as a tax write-off if the album flops. It gets even more complicating but I'll leave it at that for now.

They won't drop Jin... because who else they got? Well I mean... it all comes up to his sells. Hope he hits gold. That's a lot.. because I don't think terror squad sold that much in the first week... lol and with that lean back single lol thats funny.

If Jin wants to make history, he'll stay on Double R and revitalize the label, because the second time around he'll definitely be getting a lot more support (at least he should). Moving to another label right now, especialy a big name label, is like throwing away whatever security he fought so hard to get. He'd have to start all over, and if he joined an all-star label, he'd be one out of dozens of rappers who sell more than he does.

so do you think jin will stay with RR or virgin longer? why would jin want to leave double R? anyway would Almost Famous count as one of jins album? or is it really how many albums drop? and i think jin seems pretty happy with the Ruff Ryders, or he just really likes that chain.

It's not the R...it's Virgin. Interscope is where he needs to be, that's where Jada is at and he's still with Ruff Ryders. The label and distribution are different. Jin needs to change distributors...that would mean leaving Virgin, hopefully they'll drop him like they did Drag.

4 album deal

damn 4 albums? shit, he'd be in his 30s by the time he puts 4 albums out....unless he does the greatest hits thing, or put out some of his best freestyles as an album

Interscope would be better, but they've fucked plenty of artists there too

Lots of people know Jin as the "Chinese rapper from RR". Don't think he should leave RR, but leave Virgin. G-Unit/Jin is most retarded idea ever.

it really depends on his first album....they can either drop him or let him stay depending on it i think
